Tru Collective Agreement

April 13, 2021 | By More

Nearly 240,000 civil servants are currently subject to interim or ratified agreements concluded under the mandate. Below are links to websites for pricing updates and contact information for both tru and TRUFA executives and trading teams. We advise you to actively contact any issues or concerns regarding collective bargaining or union actions. As you may know, Thompson Rivers University (TRU) and the Thompson Rivers University Faculty Association (TRUFA) are currently negotiating a new employment contract (collective bargaining). The two sides have been negotiating since February 4, 2015, but have not reached an agreement. The agreement covers approximately 900 faculty members represented by the Federation of Local 2 Post-Secondary Ecoducs. Members work on the two main campuses, Kamloops and Williams Lake, as teachers, consultants, librarians and teaching support. We know that students may have questions about what happens in collective bargaining during collective bargaining. You may want to know what each party is saying about why this dispute has not yet been resolved. The most important thing is that you may want to know what the effects of the work are and what you might have to do.

Given that the two parties have failed to reach an agreement, it is likely that trade union actions will be put in place soon within the framework of LA. Both Tru and TRUFA have the right to act during collective bargaining and union action can take many forms. These may be small interruptions in the other party`s administrative operations or a global strike or lockout that would stop all university operations or most university operations. The Thompson Rivers University Faculty Association (TRUFA) and the Thompson Rivers University Board of Governors have officially ratified a new convention for some 900 union-recognized faculty members. The students and the student association do not have legal status in these negotiations, we will certainly be concerned. That`s why we designed this site with pricing updates and contact information for TRU and trufa. Throughout the strike, we will commit to having as much information about the conflict and… If you do not complete two TRU-OL courses without a reasonable explanation, you will no longer be entitled to drop out.

TRUOLFA manages a professional development fund to cover the costs of scientific activities, registration and participation in conferences and meetings, as well as teaching courses and programs. Please contact TRUOLFA before engaging in activities that you may wish to resume. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TRU Students want to find a solution to labour disputes A family member (spouse or dependent) can enrol in a TRU-OL course per year, which is deducted from the six courses per year. If your family member does not complete two courses without an appropriate explanation, they are no longer allowed to drop out of the study.
